Ok, here's a fairly short one.
I took a look at the catalyst 8.7 release note and found a fair bit of new Mobility chips on the supported list.
To my dismay, the support covered 34XX and 38XX...
Hahhaha!
I guess a "sorry guys" is in order then ;)
At least I get to try the driver just like everyone else then.
Just wanted to say:
1) The "bashing" obviously stems from not being able to utilise the ATI hardware to its fullest.
As a consumer, I look at these *beautiful* 4870's delivering near the same...
I've been surfing around since I might be interested in an additional laptop (for school).
Anyway, I came around this 8600M / 8400M are faulty
Needless to say, I don't fancy my study laptop...
