Besides, as Michael pointed out, there is no way of knowing if this "stuff" is for the actual SteamBox, or if it's for an eventual SteamOS. If it's for the SteamBox, then having an experimental...

While the Nexus 10 fits this requirement, what's up with the Nexus 7? Nexus 7 has "only" 1 GB of RAM, and the ARM A9 Tegra 3 chip, yet they are appearing to support it.
Yeah, I saw that. And this too: '[347895]: OpenGL performance on "Southern Islands" ASICs' - Cool.
And what else is cool is that they list the Radeon 8000 series (desktop chips) in the supported...
Linux changes:
Umm, what? You mean April?
So, nVidia is being Cox blocked?
Well I would like to add that full screen flash was garbled for me on 12.6 beta, but works fine on 12.6 final. It could have been a problem on my end, but changing the driver fixed it, so
I was unable to get the Catalyst 12.6 beta work with neither kernel 3.4.x nor XServer 1.12 on Ubuntu 12.04. Worked acceptably with 3.3.x and 1.11, though.
Have any of you been able to get gasping acelleration using fglrx and the xvba wrapper on chrome 21 with pepperflash? Remember, you have to run with the --enable-vaapi flag.
Maybe a lot of people are like me and just don't find the whole Quake 3/Live super fast shooter style enjoyable. If id would've gone through with their idea of making a Wolfenstein Enemy...
So, will there be a Linux version of the CryEngine 3 Nexuiz? I haven't found any source saying there will be, but I haven't found anything saying there won't be. I mean Xonotic is impressive and...
Perhaps this partially explains the poor Sandy Bridge E showing in VirtualBox, assuming you have a C1 stepping chip.
Just like to chime in that my HD 7950 works pretty dang well and without the unsupported hardware watermark using Ubuntu 11.10 x64 kernel 3.0 and the HD 79xx series driver AMD released back in...
Hmm, I know the HD 79xx series driver came out after the 7970 launch, but it was still before the 7950 launch, and so I did have day 1 linux support for my card. :p
Driver works pretty well, and...
Got my card in and tried that driver. I ran into a bunch of problems, but it turns out that the driver just doesn't support kernel 3.2. I rolled back to kernel 3.0, and it loaded correctly. Mind...
My HD 7950 comes in tomorrow. I'll let you guys know if this 11.12+ driver works with it.
I have Catalyst 11.11 installed (8.911), and trying to install xbmc, I get
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
xbmc : Depends: fglrx (>= 2:8.911) but 2:8.881-0ubuntu4.1 is to be...

No release notes as usual, but I'll try them when I get home.
Best news I've heard all month. Look forward to seeing the Touchpad living on with community support.
I'd hardly call the games in the last several bundles crap, but I agree that their frequency is unsettling. I liked the time between bundles originally, and that seems to be gone. This bundle came...
