Oh yes... with SOPA the EFF needs every cent it can get...
That shouldn't be necessary. As I just wrote here, the Debian package sysfsutils runs on boot as an init script, and can set stuff in /sys. More relevant to your software, it can set permissions on...
And I use the Debian package sysfsutils.
In /etc/sysfs.conf I have

If 64-bit Mesa compiles, there isn't a problem anymore? :-)
/usr/lib/libpciaccess.so.0 is in the libpciaccess0 package and the libpciaccess-dev package -- if both are installed, those flags aren't...
Duh, of course. |-/
That's why my script declares the flags on the same line as the configuration....
Great!
This one or this one?
Is the problem Wine or r600g [in which case, post the...
Did you try setting --with-dri-driverdir="/opt/xorg32/lib/dri" (or your 32-bit equivalent)?
I've never experienced the "bad register name" errors... was that from building the x86_64 version, or...
Sorry.
The script I posted wasn't quite tested -- I'd disabled the whole 32-bit section because it wasn't working. Some of the Mesa flags were preventing the 32-bit version from compiling, by...
For many tools it does, and the Move Tool's options pane does say (for me) to use Shift, but you're right -- it could be improved.
In Gimp 2.6.11, that would be Shift. There is a toggle in the Move tool's Tool Options pane.
+1. at least on Phoronix.
I'm using Firefox with Adblock and NoScript. If I disable Adblock, not much happens. If I enable Javascript for ad servers, the page gradually fills up with Flash...
Don't despair.
I have a similar situation. I run Debian Wheezy with r600g from git, for a 5770.

Yes, some Sony cameras record HD video as .MTS. They even have subtitles -- an incrementing timestamp. Highly incompatible, though.
Looks like D-Sub gets the highest resolution and refresh rate, despite being Dead....
Myself, I'm just hoping everyone hurries up and switches to DisplayPort. (As I use DVI to a cheap LCD, the DP...
I have a desktop, so the excess power consumption isn't too much of a problem -- but it's measurable. Core i7 2600K, Asus P8P67 Deluxe rev3. My CyberPower UPS measures power consumption in 8-watt...
So it tests at 2560x1600 anyway, but the monitor only gets the portion it can display?
What's the video interface you're using?
Very interesting results, though.
In your low-res Nexuiz test,...
Perhaps someone could benchmark numerous configurations with different non-standard options (Unity on/off, vsync on/off, etc.) to determine how much each helps/hurts and what the real best-case...
I'm getting closer to buying, but am reconsidering which card is best.
Primary candidates (from Newegg Canada) are
Sapphire Vapor-X 5770,
Sapphire 5770 version 3,
MSi R5770 Hawk, and

Sorry for the double post.
Okay then....
DanL, I suppose your script could be modified to make 32-bit libraries too?
Thanks to everyone! I have a rough idea what I'll need to do now; I'll post...
