I'm an Arch user. I recently had a look at Manjaro out of curiosity, frankly i thought it was pretty damn good. Great option for getting a user-friendly Arch desktop setup and running quickly.

He can do whatever he likes. I don't expect he'd be discouraged by my comments on this forum. I wouldn't be, in his position.
No worries, glad you enjoyed my post.
Good. I hope it does...
This nonetheless is already being attempted elsewhere. Frugalware Linux is one example.
IMO, this still stands as another unnecessary distribution start-up, further dividing resources.
As I said...
As if Arch or Gentoo wouldn't cater to anyone this is aimed at.
I'm all for choice, really i am, but sometimes I do have to roll my eyes at every man and his dog releasing a distro.
Usually it's...
Have they fixed it yet so it's resource footprint isn't the same size as a full Gnome install?
In my opinion; the only argument for calling Xubuntu the "best" out-of-the-box Xfce experience has...
No.
Bad.
Don't do that.
Last i looked at Xubuntu it was Xfce after Canonical had severely beaten it with the bloat stick.
It's just hard for me to see it that way. Prior to Xfce, the environments I spent the most time with were Fluxbox and Openbox, I feel non-minimalist enough as it is running Xfce.
I don't know what...
ohh they're all brick-and-mortar features that add a lot of free value and synergy

Only matters to developers. Newb developers.
I guess I can give you that one, doesn't create any...
Openbox, Fluxbox, AwesomeWM, KDE3, KDE4, Gnome2, Gnome3, LXDE... I tried em all... the only one that had a (imo) legitimate feature my current DE doesn't offer the option of was AwesomeWM, but it...
I <3 my Xfce.
But on to the most important question...
Does it fix the issue of crashing when hovering the mouse cursor over quest objectives/points on the map in SW:TOR?
HM?
I don't like frustrations when...
Too bad 304.xx makes me system randomly freeze solid.
Still running 295.xx here, my opinion based on personal experience is 295.xx is the series they should've picked for the next legacy branch.
I must be a rare case in that I have no want or need to drag apps from one screen to another, I run "separate X screens". I kinda just designate different screens for different types of task and run...
For over five years I have been using Linux as my primary OS (and by primary I don't mean 60% of the time, I mean 99.999999%. I actually think the HDD in my system holding a Windows installation...
meh.
fedora.
does anyone actually even use that distro? :p
So I was reading that image quality thread... JPEG should be used anyway because PNG is buggy! For over 10 years it didn't work right in a widely used web browser!! PNG is obviously problematic!!!
...
I don't know what distro you use or how you obtained your Xfce setup, but Xfce's performance is regularly ruined by changes/additions made by distributions (like the mountain of sluggish fail that is...
Cheapest i've seen it:

IMO, horribly.
