IMO it should be viceversa.
Qt Creator feels awkward to use, cmake support sucks and is Qt-Centric.
KDevelop can be used successfully when coding STL/Boost only projects. KDevelop also supports...
Thank you for your work.
As soon as i arrive home i'll do it :D. Anywhere on IRC tonight so i test and feedack interactively? I'm GMT+1
But got an idea of what GNOME techie users think about GNOME.
/me starts KDE :]
I want reiser4 for 3 reasons..
* Compression (just think of all the header files in /usr/include and /usr/share/doc)
* Not CoW (Copy on write)
* btrfs is backed by Oracle. I really don't trust...
That unfortunately will never happen. No one cares except us. And to be honest i would prefer reiser4 to btrfs. (read the wiki pages)
Give Hans 3 hours a day for coding and see how the fs gains life again.... LOL

Web Developers != Developers
They are more designers than devs. And HTML is no platform, just a way to attract more applications on the platform.
Ah i got it. So you still get lots of "no"?
I don't understand what's happening in AMD, that's why i made suppositions (from what i read from your last post , i was wrong).
What i thought was...
Well, it's not like it's no one's fault that HDMI audio is not yet out. If it were a dev issue code would have been already out, it's always a legal issue with that (see synaptics gestures).
...
Well, wtf is AMD doing? 1 year and still no HDMI audio. You have some really bad lawyers...
I'm sure code is sitting there somewhere and is getting dusty. If i knew how to reverse i would already...
I am also interested.
I am making PKGBUILD for arch atm. Successfully tested fglrx kernel module coexistence with i915 with nomodeset option. 2.6.38 kernel.
I'll post here as soon as i get it working
Archers, a gift for you http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=41592
:)
It fails to load though...
Has anybody tested it? did anybody assemble a megapatch to apply?
Are these changes already in 2.6.36-git?
/me is compiling kernel26-git, again, sigh..
I have an acer laptop with switchable ironlake/radeon hd 5470 graphics. I have compiled code from evergreen_accel branch, but it hangs when starting X.
Anyone has this issue?
