I do agree that there is some kind of problem with over scan on radeonhd, it wasn't so much of a problem for me though since I had the 1:1 pixel mapping with my TV.

If you are talking about overscan, I had this problem. I had a setting on my TV which allowed me to set 1:1 pixel mapping for the screen size, instead of Auto.
