I bought the Gigabyte E350N-USB3
It's quite a nice board.
Took me about three days to get XvBA working.
If you do go the AMD Solution (Which isn't bad; mine works flawlessly - I'd just...
I do remember Xvnc coming up somewhere... I'll look into that.
I think our server probably uses a flavour of KDE3.5 as well as GNOME 2.16 (Although, it doesn't really matter so long as it's a GUI)...
Hey all,
I know this is probably more suited for a Red Hat forum or an Oracle Forum, but it won't receive as much love and affection on those sort of forums.
I've been given an odd request at...
Hey guys, can I jump on the band wagon and get a beta key for Heroes of Newerth, please?
Thanks in advance!

I'm an Ubuntu fan.
I think the month after Ubuntu 9.04 comes out I'll download Fedora 11 and test that.
Personally I think Fedora 11 will kick Ubuntu 9.04 off of a lot of desktops out there....
Today I saw on the cover of a Linux magazine (can't remember the exact one) Debian 5.0 DVD.
The article on how to install it claimed it was 5.0 stable.
Now, I know the Debian website has 4.0r5...
Yeah I do see the point in them trying and trying here and there.
However, my point is that most people who go to Phoronix are:
Linux users who are comfortable with their Linux setup,

Anyone seen them and think they are a bit redundant?
Of all the places to put that advertisement, they choose a Linux & Solaris article...
I was getting a similar problem. Compiz worked, however as soon as I did anything full screen it crashed, then kept crashing.
I tried running:
sudo aticonfig...
How do I test to see what card I'm using so I don't encounter the problem when I update.
Also, isn't Canonical's work around just getting rid of that driver?
Also, would it be easier to just...
I first tried Ubuntu 6.06 when a mate was showing me his compiz build.
Put it on my compy, kept breaking it. Shortly after, I went to 6.10 (RC1) that was O.K.
Eventually got frustrated about a...
So, why is it that any app I open in WINE has been messed up, why is it that the last good driver release for BOTH my ATi cards was 8.3?
I wouldn't go back to windows (on my home box) even if you payed me on a weekly basis.
Just as a general question and also not to insult Ubuntu too much... But, has anyone else noticed the lesser ease of installation of the ATi drivers within Ubuntu 8.04?
I find it rather annoying...
All of this is good news!!!
I can't wait!1
Well if so, it's Beta and in theory still works just not to the way they completely want.
Give it a few months and ask again :P
I know there is a way to do it in VMware.
But I don't know HOW to do it.
Hmm, my apologies to the forum, I'm no longer getting any errors and I didn't really do anything.
Thanks for your time anywho.
With my previous post, I made an error anyway. I meant XGL not...
