    Default AMDs XGP & Linux?

I'm currently thinking about replacing my desktop pc with a notebook and while searching around (with AMDs new Puma-Platform in mind) I stumbled over the FSC Sa 3650 (13.3" notebook) and the FSC Amilo Graphic Booster (basically a external HD3870). This sounds like a great combination of mobility and graphic-power, but I have not yet read any information about open and closed-source linux-support for this external graphic-cards.
Will this be supported by fglrx? And will the open-source drivers be able to support this?

I do believe that they should will work out of the box with the website drivers, although i don't know if they will have the power management built in to work these... and as a quick note, the last built in support for the mobility series of cards was the X1800 set.
