    Distributed gpu processing regardless of the make model. I can see alot of MB manufacturers going this route.

    Hmm, sounds interesting. If it works out with compatibility(games/cards/boards) i could imagine the main matter is performance, because no 'enthusiast' is gonna use it if the performance is just a tad better with the native xfire/sli...

    Just a tad better would be enough for the enthusiasts. My concern is will it live up to the marketing speak. "linear performance scaling"? That is the holy grail of the cluster and super computing communities!
