There's still quite a bit of work left before Phoronix Test Suite 1.2
will be released (we're looking at a September launch date), but with
all of the changes and new features that are already accomplished, we're
now sharing the codename for this first major post-1.0 release. Phoronix
Test Suite 1.2 has been codenamed Malvik.

With the success thus far from Phoronix Test Suite 1.0 "Trondheim", this
code-name was derived from it. As described before[1], Trondheim is a
town in Norway and is on its way to becoming a technology mecca of
Northern Europe with companies like Google and Yahoo establishing a
large presence in the area. Malvik[2] is a much smaller city in
Sør-Trøndelag county and is positioned next to Trondheim -- it's between
the actual town and the Trondheim Værnes Airport.
