    Default LGP's project status ?

    Hi !

I would like to know if the LGP's projects are still under way, like X3, Bandits and Disciples 2.

Disciples 2 and Bandits were announced 5 years ago. I think there is really a problem in LGP's management or development (5 years is far too long for porting a game).

Compared to Rune Soft, a game takes 5 times longer to be ported. Do you know what is the problem ?

As far as I know, yeah. Svartalf is specifically working on Bandits.

X3 is still going, around Beta 17.

Indeed. In this case, I've picked up the work in a catch-as-catch-can fashion. I THINK that I may have most of the problems squared away on Bandits right at the moment. In the case of this title, the delays are because of lack of staffing resources to finish cleaning house on what was done earlier on- I don't do this as my day job right at the moment so I have to deal with what all is dealt me time-wise and there was quite a few pure "cleaning house" code changes needed to be made on it to get it more back on track.

Disciples 2... Heh... The codebase there is...interesting...and a point of why not all deals are as pretty as one would think them to be. I think it'll be getting more back on track over time, but that depends on whether or not he gets someone to work on the thing. The last two teams kind of boggled on him while working on it.

    Let me correct myself.
    B16 is the latest beta.
Hopefully, B17 will be released any day now... (Can Phoronix ping LGP about the project status?)

    Michael,

Could you ping LGP about a status update?
LGP seems to have gone somewhat MIA since the ISP meltdown.
