Default Phoronix forums causing a mem leak

About a week ago the Phoronix forums started to cause Opera a memory leak; just by having some tabs here open, Opera would start hogging all available ram until OOM kills it.

Since my Opera install (9.27, 32bits) has not changed in months, nor have my settings in Opera, this must be caused by a change in the forums.
It might be either bad javascript, bad advertising, or an Opera bug.

Just thought I'd let you know.

Edit: more info. The first 2-3 times I had also other tabs open, but today I had nothing but the forums (~14 tabs).

No issue here with Opera9.52. No flash installed.

I don't have flash installed. Nor Java. Nor any lookalikes of those two.
