Default What are the criteria for "Editor's Choice"

Michael, could you please explain in detail, what is the criteria for "Editor's Choice". Other sites break down how they get their overall score but I have yet to find any such criteria here and their breakdowns. Perhaps in the future you can break this down for us so we may see how you come to your conclusions. For example for a videocard it could be:

    Compatibility:

    Feature Set:

    Bundle:

    Warranty:

    Performance:

    Power consumption:

    Noise:

    Price:

    Pros:

    Cons:

When you would consider driver quality it would be never a choice because fglrx does not render PointSprites since over 1 year! That's just one example that ATI/AMD developers are unable to fix things in a timely manner. Crashing drivers just because of added modelines you never mentioned and that those are now still ignored (at least without crash) is not really a good sign. Ok, in a few years there will be most likely no CRTs, but now they are there and you can not use all res you could use with nvidia.
