    Alright, I admit I am not a Socket F know it all. Why is the socket divided up like that? Is that to do with the cores, or other on-chip co-processors?

    Looks the same as the Socket L1 used on the AMD 4x4 board, the Asus L1N64-SLI WS.

    Yeah, this was back before Socket F was publicly launched
