If news about kernel mode setting, gallium, GEM, and DRI2 make me giddy, should I seek help?

Should we really wait for DRI2 or for Galliun3D?

Can Phoronix try these bits out and write an article on how it works in a live system?

I've seen too much of that already, to the point I almost ignore it. I mean it's nice to read about it, but at this point I would like to see it all working (preferably included in distros by default) ... oh and add to the list at least OpenGL 2.0 support in mesa so that WINE+Games can finally work with open drivers
