S3 Graphics Is Working On New Linux Driver

I still have an old S3 ViRGE in my junk parts box...not a bad card in its time, and X had a driver for it albeit just a 2D driver.

My first working dual screen setup was on S3 virge hardware. It was 2 PCI 16Mb cards.

Are the S3 drivers all open source?
