GF9800GT vs GF9800GTX+

Well, I finally got my copy of X3 yesterday, and as suspected X3 at 1920x1200 on my GF7800GS is pretty much a no-go. Unless there is a ninja-trick to either get my graphic card or X3 to perform better, I more or less have to upgrade, and the question then is to what? My options are, as I see it, either a GF9800GT or a GT9800GTX+. The price difference between those cards is about 400 Norwegian "kroner" or about $60. Is the performance difference really worth that much?

I would skip the 9800GTX and head straight for a GTX260. The performance difference between a 9800GT and 9800GTX is pretty small.

Yeah, but unfortunately GTX260 blows the budget, so unless I can find one really cheap, I guess it's going to be 9800GT.

Well I would go for the 9800 GTX+ (same G92 as my 8800 GTS 512, just shrinked + higher clocked). But 9800 GT is more or less just relabeled 8800 GT with maybe one SPDIF connector more for audio/hdmi.
