    Default antialiasing

    Hello ,

I was wondering if it is possible to use antialiasing for window managers such as compiz or kwin using the latest driver on opensuse 11.1 . I tried to apply it from the catalyst control center but it doesnt seem to work at all..if there is any other way please let me know.

    Thanks.

IMO it has to be built inside the composite manager itself. Driver forcing AA on the window manager will create countless problems. It might worked on XGL server, but not on AIGLX

I would be more interested in vsync working (it doesn't) rather than anti-aliasing :P

I don't see why it wouldn't be possible...it can be done with nvidia cards and from what i heard it could also be done with ati cards with previous drivers or something like that.

I always force AA globally on fglrx. The effect doesn't seem to apply to Compiz, but it causes no problems whatsoever.

I'd be interested in forcing AA on compiz too . It must be possible somehow
