AGP support for R6xx and later coming in OS drivers?

Since I'm struggling with fglrx on my Powercolor HD3850 AGP (RV670) and radeonhd is a working alternative (no crashes, suspend working,...) I'm wondering wether AGP support for the RV635 and RV670 (designed for PCI-E) will ever come?

I believe we plan to support AGP at more or less the same time as PCIE in the open drivers (say +/- a month).

That said, it's just as hard to make AGP work reliably in the open drivers as it is in fglrx...
