    Xfce 4.6 was originally supposed to be released back in 2008, but it's been slow in making it out the door. The third beta release though has been tagged and Xfce desktop developers are beginning to enter a string freeze...

    Xfce 4.6 is now in release candidate status.
    I just wanted to announce that since it didn't get its own news blurb :P
