Switching VT using the fglrx driver.

I've a problem, switching from Desktop (VT7) to a text console on VT[1-6]. Switching to one of them leads to a blank screen.
Searching a solution I found this thread Switching VT using the radeon driver.
I posted there (#12) but I think it's better to open a new thread here, because it belongs to fglrx driver too.

Is there any solution out there or will be in future?

my solution with all this drivers problem was to go back to windows that I only booted for gaming since 4 years
