Question How to split xf86-video-ati source in Ubuntu packages?

    Hi guys,
I'd like to compile the new xf86-video-ati vers. 6.10, let me say, the Ubuntu way, in order to obtain proper packages for my distribution.
I've compiled the source and it works fine, but what I get that way is a .deb package that include evything in source... of course.

Ubuntu maintainers otherwise, split the source code in two subcode and obtain two packages called xserver-xorg-video-ati and xserver-xorg-video-radeon.
Do you know how I can obtain that source code subsplits and compile them separately?

I know the first way works fine too, but I'd like to redistribute them so I have to make those packages... Ubuntu repository compliants

    Thank you in advance!

Just look in that ati driver source package and diff downloaded from Ubuntu repo. Apply the diff and cd to Debian directory. Read all files, esspecialy Control and rules.
