In the comments on the newegg website, someone has it working
Hello. Forgive me if the subject of Linux-compatible WIFI devices has been thoroughly beaten to death, but I need a new "draft-N" adapter.
I was looking on Newegg, and the "Rosewill RNX-N2X IEEE 802.11b/g/n USB2.0 Wireless-N 2.0 Dongle (2T2R)" seemed like a good value and was highly rated.
Does this model currently have a "plug-and-play" Linux support, or should I look for something else?
I would rather not use any form of Windows wrapper.![]()

I see that now....
Are there any WIFI chipsets with **good** FOSS drivers, and if so, what brands use them?
I'd like to use 100% free-and-open code on my system if at all possible. Otherwise, I'll just buy the Rosewill adapter I mentioned above.
