The Windows driver is supposed to come out today, but since fglrx has been moved to an separate release schedule I doubt we will see anything in at least another week or so.
well I had 9.4 RC1 and it worked exactly as I wanted in ubuntu 8.10. Radeon HD is doing an ok job in Ubuntu 9.04.
I wouldn't be surprised if they moved their ass, since the Ubuntu RC is coming soon, i'm guessing they are going to want their final driver to be in there.
Catalyst 9.4 for Linux will be available on or about April 17th.
