Is there a thing like xorg.conf's ChordMiddle, that works with arbitrary buttons as opposed to ChordMiddle's hardcoded "1+2=3"?

I'm asking because I've got a cheapo "designed for ms office only" USB mouse (this one), and the middle side button reports button 8+3 events. It'd be nice to have it function as a real button, if anyone knows how...
