Default Bad chroma upsampling on videos

    I'm using Ubuntu Jaunty 64bits with xserver-xorg-video-intel 2.7.1 from this ppa: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat...ive/x-updates/

My laptop, a Thinkpad T500, has an intel integrated GMA 4500MHD and an ATI 3650HD graphic card.

Brief description of the problem: Whenever I view videos (SD or HD content), I can see red pixelation in reds.

This problem is not present with the radeonhd driver on my 3650HD.
    I've already filed a bug : https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=21522

I was wondering if Bridgman (or someone else ) knew how this issue could be solved at the driver level ? And if people with other intel controller had this problem ?

    Thanks in advance.

There's also an older bug about the same problem,
