Radeon driver 6.12.2 and bug in QT4

Can anyone help with this problem? In many QT4 applications I see black box over cursor. Check out the screenshot ("/media/music/New" in the top-left):

I'm using Mandriva 2009.1, x11-server-xorg 1.6.1, radeon 6.12.2 driver, QT 4.5.0.

My "Device" section in xorg.conf:

Section "Device"
    Identifier "device1"
    BoardName "ATI Radeon HD 2000 and later (radeonhd/fglrx)"
    Driver "radeon"
    Option "DPMS"
EndSection

I have this problem both with ATI 9600 & 4850 cards. With 4850 & radeonhd driver there is no such problem (but there are some others).

I experience that with radeonhd and SMPlayer. Also audacity is known to be broken. Not sure if someone is working on it.
