Im very interested in testing the beta as it is a native linux game. It just takes a few companies like S2 Games to get the ball rolling so let us show that developing native linux support is really worth it.

The linux install base is very hard to measure but I think the market for linux games is very underestimated nowadays. People will remember the companies who made native gaming a reality in the linux world (atleast I will).
