Typo:
"Ubuntu 9.04 was paired with Ubuntu 1.6.0 while Ubuntu 9.10 will likely be met by the just-released X Server 1.6.3."
One of those Ubuntus doesn't belong.
As for the news, this is rather disappointing, but not surprising. We all knew this might, and likely would, happen. After all, they chose not to ship 2.9.30 with Jaunty (which I'm not sore about, just saying they have a history). Even if this does make it out in time, it's likely to be very green.
Perhaps they'll make the final release tomorrow morning, and today's decision can be forgotten like that unfortunate attempt at experimentation at summer camp.
