Black Screen - HD3650 kms kernel-2.6.32_rc3-git2

Hello people. I've managed getting kms enabled here with gentoo. I use kernel-2.6.32_rc3-git2 with a Radeon HD3650 card as from the title and everything seems to work fine until i for example launch glxgears in fluxbox. The screen goes black and i lose control over my machine. I can only switch the pc off. The same happens when i try to start a KDE session. The desktop even does not load and everything locks with black screen.
