There is the remove-installed-test option in the Phoronix Test Suite.
Just run: phoronix-test-suite remove-installed-test <test identifier>
But yes, it's as simple as just deleting the directory in ~/.phoronix-test-suite/installed-tests/
How do I remove an installed test? I could not find a command for doing so. Is it just a matter of going to .phoronix-test-suite/installed-tests and deleting the particular test directory, or are there config or index files that should be modified too?

Thanks, this worked, although it's not among the options listed when I enter phoronix-test-suite.

Right, when you run phoronix-test-suite it only lists the most common options. View the HTML documentation to see the exhaustive list of options.
