Logitech Performance or Anywhere Mouse MX

Has anyone tried either of these mice:

• Logitech Performance Mouse MX
• Logitech® Anywhere Mouse MX

I am looking to replace my aging MX 1000 and really like having the extra side button for using Expo. The Performance is an 8 button mouse and if the two extra side buttons register it would be fantastic to get to set those to do Expo and Scale.

They have the mouse on sale at Best Buy -- $84.99+tax...

Heading out to get it... unless I panic... then I can tell you all if it works or not.

I went to Best Buy... picked up the mouse... it rang up at $99.99... went to one of the sales people and showed them that the price on the web site was $84.99 and was told that was an on-line only price... I showed him that I could elect to pick it up at the store... and he still said that was an on-line only price.

Gah! I refuse to pay $99.99 when I could have bought it on-line from the same place for $15.00 less.

Never going to buy something at Best Buy. I will wait to buy the mouse at another store when they put it on sale.
