    Default Bluetooth on Clevo W860CU

    Hi,

    Recently I've bought laptop based on Clevo W860CU (platform dump below). I've got everything working but bluetooth module. I physically checked and bluetooth module is there and connected. Neither combination of Fn+F11 nor Fn+F12 work (killswitch for bluetooth and wifi respectively). System reports only one killswitch for wifi (I'm running 2.6.32-r7 which supports multiple killswitches).

    I'm assuming kernel acpi module will be needed to handled it, but wanted to ask if anyone had luck with getting it to work.

    Code:
     * Original Table Header:
     *     Signature        "DSDT"
     *     Length           0x00007D0B (32011)
     *     Revision         0x02
     *     Checksum         0xE4
     *     OEM ID           "Intel "
     *     OEM Table ID     "CALPELLA"
     *     OEM Revision     0x06040000 (100925440)
     *     Compiler ID      "INTL"
     *     Compiler Version 0x20060912 (537266450)

    I just got the same laptop, seeing the same problem on Ubuntu 9.10.

    Actually, on a cold boot the "BT" radio LED is lit, but early in the boot process it turns off. The hotkey doesn't generate any ACPI events, and I haven't figured out where to look next.

    bluetooth radio is terminated during boot by BIOS (before kernel loads). So to get to it - you need to deep into bios - that's what acpi is for

    So yeah, I think we need a driver after all.

    For what it's worth, I've filed a Ubuntu bug on this, #487436.
