Yes, please turn it off
No, it's okay
Who?
Can't make comprehensible posts, threadjacking, etc.
I'm more of a lurker here than anything but I'd definitely sign off on that...
im not particularly sure if this thread is noteworthy. Generally speaking, if you have a problem with something or someone on a specific site you talk to a mod or admin.
Hey relax guys...Qaridarium's pretty chill and note that English is not his main language...he's German I believe.
He may be a bit of a rambler, but that's the only bad thing I'd noticed
Exactly. No need to create drama, but if there's ever a problem with a user just either put on ignore or report to a mod.

Weird, I've just registered to the forums (which I read daily, although I only read the Open-Source AMD/ATI section) to make a thread asking for him to get banned because he's trolling just about every thread with incomprehensible ramblings and personal attacks, and while pondering which forum to create that thread in I've found this thread. So either great minds think alike or that Qaridarium guy is becoming so much of a problem that people feel compelled to act.
Anyway, I have obviously voted Yes to this poll.
@DeepDayze: bad English doesn't make you type eight periods in a row, or five question marks or six commas and still omit to add a period at the end of a phrase or type the first letter in uppercase. Lack of English doesn't turn a normal post into a slinging mudfest filled with personal attacks and bickering.
My point is this: I used to enjoy reading all threads in the Open-Source AMD/ATI forum, but since he's been spamming the forums that guy makes reading threads much more difficult. He doesn't contribute anything but noise.
Hi Yall, Mr Q & "DanL",
please cease & desist, with your trolling & flamebait.
FYI, the 4ums rules, are and I quote "...you warrant that you will not post any messages that are obscene, vulgar, sexually-oriented, hateful, threatening, or otherwise violative of any laws.
The owners of Phoronix Forums reserve the right to remove, edit, move or close any thread for any reason."
Note, none of Mr Q's, have crossed this line and hence been edited etc.
Civilized laws and societies, tolerate conflicting points of view, as opposed to say China or Iran. By all means disagree with Mr Q-but do not try to "kill" his online voice.
DanL, back up and chill out. It is xmouse, play some computer games, hang out with friends, etc. :-)
GreekGeek :-)
Qaridarium's posts have a point, they're just written ridiculously bad and overreacting, you have to get used to it to understand what he's saying. Also, I think members like Jade (remember him?) were much worse with what was it - attacking jews? Or something like that.
I voted against a ban.
Oh come on. Take it easy guys and have fun. People should not take forums so seriously. Geez, banning someone for recreation is silly.
Not really. And if they do, it's lost in a sea of rambling.
I visit Phoronix to get informations. Since that person appeared in the forums, that task has become significantly more difficult. It's hard to read a thread when half of the content (in terms of lines/screen real estate) is the kind of stuff you expect to hear yelled at squirrels by some crazy dude living in the woods.
As it is, if that person is allowed to keep bothering the forums I only see two options for me: write a user-script that hides his posts and people replying to his baits (because people replying to noise is just more noise), or leave the forum altogether and limit my reading to the news section. The common rule in forums is that for 1 poster there are 10 readers, it makes me wonder how many people are considering visiting Phoronix less often because they are bothered by the noise in forums.
