Of course not, but the point is that the direction of Fedora isn't determined by Red Hat management, as that would be completely inappropriate. Fedora doesn't have any 'management', you don't have to convince 'management' of anything to do it in Fedora. The closest thing would be the Board and the steering committees, neither of which are in form or function anything like Red Hat management. The reason this is happening now is because someone (Jesse) chose to work on it. It's been on the 'things we should really get around to sometime' list for ages.
