Still using the Nouveau driver. I was just about to order an ati 4670 but stopped at the last second. So still using the onboard nvidia 8200.
Just downloaded the lastest set of fedora 12 testing files and THEY ARE FAST. I still don't have working 3d and OpenGL but the 2d stuff is SMOKING. Everything speeded up 50%. Fedora 10 was NEVER this fast with nvidia proprietary drivers.

No I used compiz like for 10 minutes back in the fedora 7 days and never messed with again. EVER. I don't know what it is. Some of the snap has worn off now but it's still pretty amazing since it's all mostly python speedups and fixes to X.Org that I can see.Originally Posted by Kano
