    Default tearing with Xv,Gl

    Hi,

    Firstly, thanks for all you did and does on the opensource driver.

    As a movies fan, i use xbmc which needs opengl and GLSL.
    Xbmc currently works with everything compiled from git ^^.

    However, i have some tearing when i play videos. Xbmc use gl as renderer.
    Do you plan to implement this fonctionnality in the future, i didn't find anything about this on the forum. In flgrx, there was no tearing when i activated v-sync in 3D options. So i tried the same trick in driconf but it didn't work... .
    Also, if i use KMS with xv, will it be possible not to get tearing with Kwin.

    I don't think vsync for opengl is implemented yet. I could be wrong though, but vsync does indeed not work on opengl games.

    You need kernel 2.6.33 for vsync irq support on r6xx+.

    Just tried... It works !!!
    Now have to wait for lirc which doesn't work with 2.6.33 ^
