Just a heads up for Ubuntu users, there is a packaged version on Playdeb.net.

I gave it a try, and it looks good so far. Looking forward to future updates.

For quite some time I have been hoping someone would do exactly this; fork one of the free racing sims (torcs, v-drift etc.) and create something a lot more mainstream and easy to play (along the lines of Need for Speed). Good job!

Pretty cool game, but as usual with games I had to mess around a little bit to get it to work with this horrible pulseaudio.
