Well, I've browsed a bit on this... and I'm wondering, how much of an impact will this have on Linux support?

A new processor like this could be a real headache for Linux support, is it not?

Any thoughts?

At this stage of the game, it is too early to say any definitive details. ATI/AMD doing a CPU+GPU could sway either way at this point on its effect for the GNU/Linux community. Though there are other areas for this that could influence the community.
