It's understandable if they don't really have anyone there familiar with Linux. If they are indeed planning to compete in the arm market, they probably are learning it as they go along out of necessity.
Since everyone thought they were defunct, it's reasonable to assume they don't have the payroll to employ a Linux specialist. Let's hope they start working closely with the community instead. I don't own any of their stuff, but any potential open video solutions for arm netbooks is a plus.
