Default No 2D acceleration, DRI init failed

Hello guys, I can't enable the 2D acceleration (3D is fine), with radeon and radeonhd.

I have an ATI 3850 in a Debian Testing. The key I think is the next, from the X log:

(II) RADEONHD(0): [dri] Visual configs initialized
    (II) RADEONHD(0): [DRI] installation complete
    (EE) RADEONHD(0): [dri] CP_INIT failed
    (EE) RADEONHD(0): RHDDRIFinishScreenInit: RHDDRIKernelInit Failed.
(WW) RADEONHD(0): RHDCSInit: CS for R600 requires DRI.
(II) AIGLX: Screen 0 is not DRI2 capable
(II) AIGLX: Screen 0 is not DRI capable

Do you have any clue of what is happening?

    Thanks in advance.

Likely you don't have the drm loaded properly or it's too old. check dmesg.

    Solved, thank you very much.

In Debian the last updates placed the firmware-proprietary in different packages.
