Default How to trace the properties of windows opened by an app?

    Hello!

I am trying to find the Window Type, Window Name, Window Class and so on of the tooltip windows used by the Symphony office suit. I cannot use xprops because I cannot trigger the tooltips using mouseover when the xprops grabbing cursor is active.

Do you have an advice? Is there a command line tool for tracing the x windows opened by an app or a process?

Well, I found out that xwininfo gave me the type of data I needed.
