    When it comes to audio files, MP3 and Ogg will both likely be offered in the future... Many of you hate proprietary packages, but there are still situations I care about that make MP3 worthwhile. i.e. Easily listening to the file on a media player or other device that can't handle Ogg or those browsing Phoronix from work where they may be on Windows and are unable to install Ogg on their business machines. The percentage of Windows readers at Phoronix.com is much higher than you probably imagine.

    I am on my mobile on my way to LA, but later today I should be able to get updated numbers. At last check, Windows actually accounted for 30 to 40 percent of the traffic. Mac OS X is 5 or 6, OpenSolaris or BSD like 2 or 3 and Linux the rest.
