The more they spew this useless garbage the more discrediting they do to themselves. This recent news regarding copyright isn't good for them in the least; In particularly the adding of Canada to the 301 priority list made me laugh.

Canada’s weak border measures continue to be a serious concern for IP owners. The United States hopes that Canada will implement legislative changes to provide a stronger border enforcement system by giving its customs officers the authority to seize products suspected of being pirated or counterfeit without the need for a court order.

Im not particularly sure people are trying to cross the boarder with a horde of pirate Michael Jackson CD's, which is what this text makes it seem like. Not like Canadian customs officers check people entering the USA anyways...

If you ask me, whoever put us on this report had no idea what they are talking about. That, or they are puppets. Perhaps we should come up with a cold war style containment strategy, only this time against corp. america .

Most of the pirated DVDs and CDs entering the US are coming from and funding the drug cartels within Mexico, so dammit why aren't you Canadians doing anything to stop that?!?! What's wrong with your border guards?

This is more confirmation, if you even need it at this point, that the RIAA, MPAA, BSA, and similar entities are utterly hypocritical in their advocacy of "intellectual property rights". They want "rights" as a competitive advantage for themselves, not as a basic moral entitlement for everyone.
