i also was using multi-seat with two nvidia-cards powered by their blob - it worked ok and provided full acceleration on both screens but those blobs are not most stable thing in the world...

i looking forward for this - being able to plug keyboard and external monitor to my laptop and use it for 2 ! oh yeh, it's that hardcore

bah, multi-seat with 2 GPUs is easy. Using KMS to have two X servers share a single GPU without knowing about each other, that's what's new.
