can't edit my own posts, why?

I can't the edit feature on my posts no more. any special reason?

The site admin has set a short edit time limit (currently 1 minute after posting, I think) to limit the amount of spam that has to be cleaned up - new users were using edit as a way to get around some other anti-spam measures.

Michael's hope is that temporarily limiting edits to reduce incoming spam volume will free up enough time to implement a more permanent solution.

Can this be bypassed after you accumulate enough posts? It is rather annoying, and it isn't one minute either. If you edit within a few seconds it still isn't allowed.

so if i want to add video after, what will i do?
or if i want to add signature of myself, what will i do?
