Actually, Q was correct on 3 of the points - give him that much. The other notes could come from unreleased drivers, as people using the beta stuff might have a different changelog to the final version.
Or he could've just made it all up.

I believe 10.5 can work with xorg-server 1.8, with some patching here & there to change a version string. Yes it's a bit of a hack, but the drivers should be ready whenever one of AMD's supported distros is.

Fedora is 2nd on Distrowatch and has been in the top 3 for ages. Why isn't it supported? Yet, Nvidia cards (at least the gneration before Fermi) are. You can't even use the full functioning of an ATI HD 4xxx card in Fedora 13 (cuz they use X-Server 1.8?). I'd say the support is maybe 80% to use a quantitative figure to describe the support.
