I don't care WHAT we choose so long as it's robust, simple, and accomplishes multiple sources being stitched together onto the single set of speakers, coupled with allowing multiple requesters to pull sound from the input lines.A good first step would be for distros to push OSSv4 to their repositories and begin testing. Arch and Debian already have it, but I don't believe Gentoo does. OSSv4 needs to be throughally tested before we can adopt it. We don't want another PulseAudio situation.
