Erm speak for yourself buddy, I'm doing fine with openGL output in Mplayer.
Gotta love broad claims...
AMD/ATI might as well ask the Mplayer team to rename openGL output "ATI GPU acceleration (Work in Progress)" and be done with it... Like anyone would notice anyway.
