Either that was sarcastic, or a call for more help to speed it up (Canonical, AHEMMMM), or this guy has a rigorous daily routine where he gives himself exactly 15 minutes to write code...
So not interested in distro-specific and thus proprietary packaging formats. At all.
Wake me up when the Linux community stops being idiotic and decides to promote the Linux platform as a whole with cross-distro formats and, you know, real standards that will become adopted by the major software projects existing today.
If this was a packaging format that could work with both the rpm and apt managers, THEN that'd be something to get excited about.
